INSTANT POT® KETO BACON STEW
Dairy-Free, Gluten-Free, Keto-Friendly
Serves about 16 people
INGREDIENTS
2 pounds bacon, cut up
4 quarts bone broth
4 tablespoons coconut oil
1/2 teaspoon chili powder
2 teaspoons dried basil
2 teaspoons turmeric
12 ounces turkey, cut up and cooked
*Add your favorite spices, herbs and vegetables
INSTANT POT® RECIPE
1. Pour all ingredients into the inner pot of the Instant Pot®.
2. Close the lid, set the pressure release to Sealing, and select Manual/Pressure Cook. Set the Instant Pot® to 5 minutes on high pressure, and let cook.
3. Once cooked, let the pressure naturally disperse from the Instant Pot® for about 10 minutes, then carefully switch the pressure release to Venting.
4. Open the Instant Pot®, serve, and enjoy!
TRADITIONAL RECIPE
1. Heat coconut oil over medium heat in large pot, and drop in bacon. Let simmer for 10 minutes.
2. Pour in bone broth, and continue to let simmer, reducing heat to low. Sprinkle in turmeric, basil and chili powder. Simmer for 10 minutes, and then drop in the turkey, mixing thoroughly.
3. Serve, and enjoy!
BACON STEW
- 2 pounds bacon (cut up)
- 4 quarts bone broth
- 4 tablespoons coconut oil
- 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
- 2 teaspoons dried basil
- 2 teaspoons turmeric
- 12 ounces turkey (cut up and cooked)
- *Add your favorite spices, herbs, and vegetables
