This multi-function gym packs an incredible value into a fairly low price tag, and definitely withstood everything during our testing. As you might guess, it’s not quite as sturdy as models that cost 3-4x more – but for most people this is more than enough.
Some reviewers have noted that you must stand in the right spot for some exercises, as it is not quite as heavy duty as higher priced models. We loved this during our testing, and if you’re not a meathead, this could be a perfect fit for you.
Marcy MWM-988 Multifunction Steel Home Gym
Marcy has a huge slice of the market, in terms of home gyms, and this one is another incredible machine. With thousands of great reviews, and a very affordable price tag, this is a perfect mid-range gym for any home owners.
We tried every exercise we could think of with this one, and it help up extremely well. You could definitely feel how much more sturdy it was, compared with less expensive models, and we definitely appreciated that. Highly recommended.

Bowflex does it again, with this incredible machine. We loved how easy it was to use, as well as how much resistance we were able to get, from such a (seemingly) simple machine.
It has thousands of great reviews, and a very good price point. While you can certainly spend more, we found that this is a perfect choice for probably 80-90% of home owners. Two thumbs up.

This Rolls Royce of home gyms has tremendous performance and held up very well. While it doesn’t have the same brand reputation as Weider or Bowflex, it does offer the same level of quality.
We did all of our favorite exercises, and were pleasantly surprised that the machine was able to withstood anything and everything we threw at it. Definitely recommended, if budget isn’t an issue.
