INSTANT POT® KETO CLAM SOUP

Dairy-Free, Gluten-Free, Keto-Friendly

Serves about 16 people

INGREDIENTS
2 pounds clams
1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1/2 teaspoon basil
1/2 teaspoon thyme
1/4 teaspoon rosemary
4 quarts bone broth
12 tablespoons grass-fed butter
*Add your favorite vegetables, herbs, and spices

INSTANT POT® RECIPE
1. Pour all ingredients into the inner pot of the Instant Pot®.

2. Close the lid, set the pressure release to Sealing, and select Manual/Pressure Cook. Set the Instant Pot® to 3 minutes on high pressure, and let cook.

3. Once cooked, perform a quick release (covering the steam valve, so as not to spray liquid). Open the Instant Pot®, and remove the food.

TRADITIONAL RECIPE
1. Pour butter into a large pot, and melt over low heat. Add in all ingredients (except clams), and cook for 30 minutes.

2. Add clams on top of the broth, then cover. Cook on low, until the clams open.

3. Serve, and enjoy!

CLAM SOUP

  • 2 pounds clams
