Paleo meal delivery services have become increasingly popular during the last few years. With healthy eating on the rise, and the internet e-commerce world blossoming, we’re seeing a brand new batch of meal delivery services.

While I love cooking at home, the convenience and huge amount of time saved by these meal services is priceless.

But I will also admit I was a bit hesitant at first. The price, the unknown quality of ingredients—for a very precise eater, these were not issues I easily overcame. But what’s truly remarkable (and different) about these services is that you get extremely healthy food, with high quality ingredients, without any of the hassle. Ten years ago, this wasn’t even possible. Unless you can afford to have a private chef in your kitchen, these Paleo meal delivery services are the best option for quick, fuss-free, healthy eating.

One downside of the huge boom of e-commerce is that there are also many low-quality options for Paleo meal delivery services. Fortunately for you, we’ve sorted through all the options, and come up with the top 13 choices. Any of these services will give you great meals, but there are some small differences and subtleties between each of them. For example, some services may not deliver to your location, or they may not use entirely organic ingredients. They also range in price from moderate ($$) to a pretty penny ($$$). I recommend trying a variety of services to find out which one works best for you before committing for a long-term period. So without further ado, here are the 13 best Paleo meal delivery services!

1. Trifecta Nutrition

Price: $$
Organic: Yes
Delivers To: All 50 states in the U.S.
Ingredient Highlights: Organic, Non-GMO, Gluten-Free, Dairy-Free

trifecta.jpg
Trifecta Nutrition offers a great Paleo meal delivery service that is 100% organic. Trifecta’s service was formed in a partnership with the founder of the Paleo diet, Dr. Loren Cordain. This means that the Paleo meals are the textbook definition of Paleo, and you won’t come across any surprises or be left wondering if a meal is “truly Paleo.” There is free nationwide delivery with all meal plans, and you can even order food in bulk, instead of in meals. Trifecta also focuses on reducing their environmental footprint, and maintains a commitment to use Animal Welfare certified ingredients at (or above) level 5. The free shipping to all 50 states, and 100% organic ingredients, are the real key features here though, and anyone truly concerned about their food quality should give Trifecta a look.

2. Pete’s Paleo

Organic: Yes
Delivers To: All 50 states in the U.S.

petes-paleo.jpg
Pete’s Paleo is well-known in the Paleo world—and for good reason. Created by Pete and Sarah Servold, Pete’s, based out of San Diego, is Paleo and REAL certified. Their produce comes from southern California, and their meals are shipped in vacuum-sealed packages. One aspect I really like about Pete’s Paleo is that any sweetening of meals is done via fruits or vegetables—no maple syrup or honey. They also offer a 21 Day Sugar Detox plan, a program for the Wahls Protocol, and other plans as well. Pete’s Paleo meal delivery ship nationwide and are not cooked with butter or ghee.

3. Pre-Made Paleo

Price: $$
Organic: Yes
Delivers To: All 50 states in the U.S., Puerto Rico, Canada
Ingredient Highlights: Grass-Fed, Organic Vegetables, Locally Sourced

pre-made-Paleo.jpg
There are a lot of Paleo meal delivery services, but Pre-Made Paleo is definitely one of the best. For starters, the program was created by Chef Richard Bradford, whom you may know as the recipe author for the NY Times best-selling book, The Whole30. All meals from the program are Whole30-approved, which means they are Paleo to a strict level. In addition, they taste phenomenal! There is quite a wide variety of foods, and even exotic meats like wild boar are on the menu. On top of that, they offer one of the largest delivery areas, delivering to all 50 states as well as Puerto Rico and Canada. All vegetables are 100% certified organic, and there is even a locally sourced (but non-organic) budget line of meals.

4. Paleo On The Go

Price: $$
Organic: Yes
Delivers To: All 50 states in the U.S., Puerto Rico
Ingredient Highlights: Organic, Pasture-Raised, Cooked in High Quality Oils

paleo-on-the-go.jpg
Paleo On The Go is another popular Paleo meal delivery service, and they are Certified Paleo-Friendly and Certified Paleo. Their kitchen is completely gluten-free, and they also provide AIP (autoimmune protocol)-friendly meals. In addition, they offer other options, like their Strict 30 meals, which contain no sulfites, carrageenan, honey or maple syrup. What I find unique with Paleo On The Go is their bone broth and other options like Paleo soups, cooking fats and desserts. As you might expect, all their meals are grain-free, dairy-free, soy-free, and legume-free. The proteins found within are all grass-fed, pasture-raised or wild, and they offer nationwide delivery. A great option for any Paleo enthusiast.

5. modPALEO

Price: $$
Organic: Yes
Delivers To: All 48 continental states in the U.S.
Ingredient Highlights: Grass-Fed, Pasture-Raised, Locally Grown

modpaleo.jpg
modPALEO is a great, chef-prepared Paleo meal delivery service. Started by a husband and wife team, their organic produce is sourced almost exclusively from local farms in North Carolina (where the service is based). If you’re curious about the actual farms, an extensive list is available on their website. One of the unique offerings of modPALEO is their Pegan selections, which offer meals for those who like to split the difference between vegan and Paleo. They offer nationwide delivery, and the meals will arrive on your doorstep either refrigerated or frozen. It couldn’t be any easier!

6. Caveman Chefs

caveman-chefs.jpg
Caveman Chefs is a little unique, largely because it offers catering as well as nationwide Paleo meal delivery. Based in Colorado, Cavemen Chefs sources their menu from local meats, produce and seafood. Some interesting menu options include grass-fed wagyu beef and grass-fed lamb. They will also cater to whatever needs you have, meaning you can order meals that are Whole30, AIP, low FODMAP, ketogenic, or from any other niche.

Beetnik offers other organic food as well, so make sure to specify meals that are marked Paleo-friendly when ordering. Based out of Austin, Texas, Beetnik delivers nationwide and also has offerings in health food stores, so be sure to look for them in your favorite local store.

8. Paleo Power Meals

Price: $$$
Organic: Yes
Delivers To: All 50 states in the U.S.
Ingredient Highlights: Grass-Fed, Cage-Free, Antibiotic-Free

paleo-power-meals-1.jpg
Paleo Power Meals is another great option for those looking to eat healthy without having to cook. I especially like Paleo Power Meals because they have generous portions that pack a large amount of protein. For example, the chicken salad gives you almost 70 grams of protein. Not too shabby! They deliver nationwide and have over 40 meal options.

9. Paleo Diet Delivered

Price: $$$
Organic: No
Delivers To: All 50 states in the U.S.
Ingredient Highlights: Gluten-Free, Wild-Caught

paleo-diet-delivered.jpg
Perhaps the most straightforwardly named service out there, Paleo Diet Delivered offers many great choices, with a wide variety of foods to fill out your Paleo meal plan. The meals also come in state-of-the-art biodegradable and recyclable packaging, which is a nice bonus. I recommend the Paleo BBQ beef! One note of concern, however, is that the ingredients are not 100% organic. While the company states that their ingredients are high quality and fresh, there is no indication of their origin.

10. Factor 75

Price: $$$
Organic: Yes
Delivers To: All 48 continental states in the U.S.
Ingredient Highlights: Non-GMO, Hormone-Free, Antibiotic-Free

factor-75.jpg
Factor 75, based out of Chicago, offers non-GMO, antibiotic-free, hormone-free, gluten-free, soy-free, and organic meals. This is another one of my favorites, and their butternut squash lasagna is to die for. They deliver nationwide, and also have one of the better meal delivery websites I’ve seen. While I have yet to try every option on the menu, the choices are mouth-watering: boar burger, beef sliders with bacon, sunrise omelet cup with fruit—they all sound amazing. It must be noted that they are a bit higher priced than other services, but in my experience, the better taste of the ingredients is worth the extra cost.

11. Paleo Meals To Go

Price: $$
Organic: No
Delivers To: All 50 states in the U.S.
Ingredient Highlights: Gluten-Free, Soy-Free, Milk-Free

paleo-meals-to-go.jpg
Paleo Meals To Go has gotten a lot of press, and with good reason. They offer freeze-dried meals, and these have an average shelf life of 12-18 months. Their meals are all gluten-free, and all contain very few ingredients. I must admit that I also really love their packaging—it definitely stands out in your kitchen! Innovative, forward-thinking, and delicious! Definitely worth a try.

12. Eatology

Price: $$
Organic: No
Delivers To: All 50 states in the U.S.

eatology.jpeg
Eatology is unique in that you can get Paleo options, Primal options, and options guided by the Zone diet. This means the meals are balanced to achieve a good hormonal response from your body. Each meal will have a balanced ratio of protein, carbs and fats. The meals are sold in different sizes, and you can even choose based upon Zone “blocks.” Based in Texas, Eatology offers nationwide delivery.

13. Grandcestors

Price: $$
Organic: Yes
Delivers To: All 48 continental states in the U.S.
Ingredient Highlights: No Artificial Ingredients, Dairy-Free, Soy-Free

grancestors.png
Based in Colorado, Grandcestors delivers nationwide and is also found in the freezer section at Whole Foods stores in the southwestern region of the U.S. What’s great about Grandcestors is that—although they may look like other frozen meals—they focus on Paleo ingredients, keeping a macronutrient ratio of 40/30/30 (that’s carbs, protein and fat). This means you don’t have to count calories, and can still rest assured you’re getting the ideal amount of nutrients. All meals are vacuum-sealed and can be microwaved easily, if needed.

In the End

As you can probably tell, many Paleo food delivery services offer roughly the same thing. The difference—and what will make a brand the right choice for you—is the individual meal options. Find one or two you really like, and mix and match meals. However, in the beginning, it makes sense to try a wide variety of services, so you can find your own personal favorites. Whichever option you choose, these meal delivery services make it much easier to stay on track with a Paleo meal plan and don’t require any calorie counting, cooking, or trips to the grocery store. Who could ask for more?
